Griffin did another soccer clinic this spring. It was co-ed and full of drills and mini games. He loved it and will play on a boys 5-year-old team this fall. He was quick to run after the ball and not afraid to get in the mix. Can't wait to see him in full uniform!
We kept it low key and didn't worry about cleats.
On a random, not related note, Griffin came home with this one day. Love it.
Mike turned 40 this spring and I threw him a casual backyard "beer tasting" party. We set out different kinds of beer around our back patio for tasting and I put out glasses in case people truly wanted "just a taste (not sure one person elected that option). I put mustaches out to label everyone's beer so no one would get confused. And I covered the back porch with zillions of photos of Mike through the years. They were so fun to check out. :) Salsarita's was a huge hit for dinner and Dao's cake pops were the hit for dessert. Pretty sure people were fighting over them. These photos are a combination of mine, Trish's and Dao's. Thanks girls for snapping a few!
didn't i look like charlie brown that night?!
Cara couldn't get over this one photo of Mike. I kept catching her talking about it and pointing to it. haha We had a take a photo of her with the photo.

we got to meet shannon's boyfriend gary for the first time that night. LOVED him instantly.
Thanks to everyone that helped Mike celebrate. Such a fun night!
