Miles stopped napping 3 years ago....Noah stopped napping almost a year ago. I never insisted on quiet time so its all of us....ALL the time! Today I decided that the boys should have some quiet time. Miles begged me to let them have quiet time together. He said, "I promise we'll be good! We won't be loud!" They scurried to the playroom upstairs and started the fun. Loud banging drew me upstairs. This was my visual when I opened the door.
I hid my laughter behind the camera and muttered something about being careful.
I decided not the end the party (it is a playroom, right)? But as I shut the door, I did call out to them...."good job playing together! Let's continue this for another 30 minutes." :)

i think i would have liked hanging out with them when i was litte. in fact i like hanging out with them now. you think i'm cool enough to play with them. didn't they tell you, you weren't cool enough brooke? do you think i have a shot. me and noah like goggles!
Whoa! I was told that I did something uncool -- I'm definitely not assuming that I am 100% uncool! Let's wait until Miles is at least 13 for that! :)
What a great set of pictures! They perfectly capture life with boys. You and I led parallel lives today - we also tried quiet time for the first time and it led to a discussion about how the living room ceiling shouldn't shake while they're "resting". :) Just think - in a year and a half we'll each have THREE superheros jumping off furniture!
