(PS I am terrible about video and am committing myself to start taking more "everyday" video. Still testing out the best way to share it - here are 2 options. Let me know if the one you used worked well or not.)
Option 1 (Quality much better)
The Greenway & Some Ice Cream ~ 4-25-10 from Brooke Brown on Vimeo.
Option 2 (Quality not great)

I had them both running side by side and couldn't tell the difference. Both looked / sounded great! Jonathan
ok...a few questions first...1) what camera did you use? was it the D90? or something that takes HD? 2) if HD did you upload in HD? 3) Where did you edit???
Very cool movie! Both look really great to me. I love how Vimeo shows the video framelessly though.
Yep - used the D90, hence the fuzzy/out of focus areas. :) Edited in imovie (still learning all of the functionality - i think there is a lot that you can do in there). Love the MAC! :) For some reason, youtube looks terrible on my laptop. Weird.
you do well with the d90!!!! love iMovie you are much better with it than I am!
you prob already know but youTube sometimes takes hours to process fully and looks terrible at first and gets better over time...apparently because of the sheer number of videos they process...not a good feature i guess...
Love that you are experimenting with video and the "montage". Did it take you as long to fiddle with it as me? And I love that you used that song! Fun Fun
ps Both had similar quality but I agree I like vimeo format a bit better. I need to learn how to do that (vs link to smugmug).
the vimeo played perfectly on my SLOW desktop computer but the youtube one skipped a little. very cool. so sweet. so imovie editing helped you speed up sections?
oh kate's gonna love this! awesome...they are really similar in quality to me, frankly, the same? BUT i like the first because when i watch youtube i see all the ads at the bottom?
