Our attempt at a family picture (self timer). Perfect example of why 2:30pm has terrible lighting for photos. Its all of us, though, so I love it anyway. :)
New Bern is celebrating its 300th year this year, so all around town are painted bears to celebrate. We picked up some maps at the visitors center and found as many as we could.
We also played around near the water. We fed the ducks (those pics are still on my camera, so they'll come in another post), played tag, and the boys put on a show for us.
We went to the playground, played on the equipment (no pics), played soccer (no pics) and drew with chalk.
(griffin asked me to spell elephant for him)
Noah learned to ride a 2-wheeler!! (Better pics coming this week)
Oh, and did I mention that Noah lost his 2 bottom teeth last month? :) LOTS to be thankful for!

such great family time. you guys did a lot. love the leaves shots--it's funny how much kids love throwing leaves all of themselves. pure joy. the family shots turned out pretty good considering the early afternoon harsh light. surprised the background's not blown out more.
great letter writing, griffin--wow! love the gap-toothed grin--i hope there are more shots on that...how often do you get all 4 front teeth missing at once?? and awesome job on the bike, noah--can't wait to tell jack. we'll have to have a bike-riding playdate at a park sometime.
p.s. no matter how many times i refresh i can't get the 2nd shot to load. probably on my end.

love the throw leaves photos. such a great childhood memory to capture. noah learning 2 wheeler is huge and that fact he has missing two front and bottom teeth is too cute. your boys are growing up **sniff sniff**.
