Shower for Dana!

We had a baby shower for Dana before Leila came.  Was much fun!



Lindsey made these cute candle centerpieces.


My dad's famous black bean salsa.

My mom's famous chocolate chip cookies.

My good friend Dao's amazing cake pops.



Its always fun to see the guest-of-honor's expression when she enters a party.





Lindsey and I updated a vintage suitcase for use as a little book-nook in the nursery.  All the guests put a favorite book inside.



Lindsey came up with a really fun music trivia game.






Neely did great and won a microphone.  haha


Rachel, Dana's mother-in-law, brought a family cradle to use for the presents and for Dana and Brad to keep and use with Leila.


Of course we made Dana pose with all of her presents.



And we made her try things on -- like her monogrammed hospital gown.  :)


Along with her cute diaper bag/purse from Rachel.


This is how much Lindsey loved Dao's cake pops.  haha


We set up a  make-shift photo booth that was much fun.
