Soccer Camp

Miles went to two soccer camps this summer.  One with Charlotte Sports Academy and one with the Charlotte Eagles.  He loved them both.  And, I was extra proud of him for going to both without a buddy (he had a friend lined up, but his friend ended up having medical issues this summer and had to cancel all of his summer camp plans....such a bummer for his sweet friend).  Here are a few shots from his final game day at CSA camp.

Miles won an award as the top 9-year-old at the camp based on a technical skills challenge.  I was so excited for him!


Eagles Camp was incredible.  I had no idea the Eagles were a Christian organization.  They prayed with the kids each day and you could tell the counselors really wanted to be there.  They really engaged with the kids and Miles had so.much.fun.  Excited about this camp for next year!


Miles LOVES playing goalie.  He had 4 incredible saves quickly-in-a-row during this game and caught the attention of the HS counselors from another Y camp behind him.  They started yelling, "that goalie is on FIRE!"  It was awesome.







Miles also went to the Whitewater Center for camp with a bunch of friends and LOVED it.  See my photos below of their amazing time (I wish....didn't take any....)  :)
