Easter Morning!

The boys were so excited for Easter morning. As we walked downstairs, I heard Miles telling Noah "we have to go outside right away to find the eggs!". It made me wish that we'd hidden the eggs the night before. Still, they were thrilled to find their baskets full of candy (Noah started eating immediately!) and a new bunny 'lovie'. Miles named his bunny, "Super Easter Bunny" (everything is "super" these days!). I suggested that Noah name his bunny "bun-buns". He said, "Yes!". However, his interpretation of the name is "bunzzzz-bunzzzz". Its a huge mouthful and he really enunciates the "z" sound. Too funny!

Its Easter Eve!

Check out the big smiles on all 3 boys--- courtesy of Daddy making the silliest noises in the world!

After church we dyed Easter eggs. When the boys started painting each other we packed it up and headed for the bathtub.

Tomorrow should be wild after the boys eat their way through their baskets of candy. Yikes!

One Sleeping Polar Bear, Two Seals....

...and a bunch of puffins. That pretty much sums up the animals that we saw at the NC Zoo. The animal viewing was a bust - but the day was great fun thanks to the company of Aunt Shannon & Mason. The NC Zoo also has a fun playground and a cool maze. Griffin relaxed the entire time-such a rock star 3rd child!

Legos, Legos, & More Legos!

Miles & Noah LOVE blocks....mega blocks, bristle blocks, you name it - they'll build with it. Their current passion is legos -- the teeny, tiny rats-I-just-stepped-on-one kind. They love to chill and make the coolest things. At the same time, Griffin's newest trick is pulling up...so the train table no longer works as a safe building zone. Every day is a transition! :)

Dress Me Up & Take Me Everywhere!

The boys LOVE to dress up in costumes. Their current favorite costume is Dash from the Incredibles. Miles wears it almost everyday....at home, riding bikes, at the mall, at restaurants --- you name it, he wears it. The mask leaves marks on his face and often mashes his ears down which makes it all the funnier. The only sticking point is that he doesn't want anyone to call him by the character's name that he's dressed as.....he'll say to someone very emphatically, "I'm not Dash! I'm Miles!" Too funny! We even got an Incredibles shirt for Mike so that he can join in the fun (at home).

I Want Big Boy Food!

Some kids want to eat baby food forever....Griffin only wants to eat what his brothers eat (and often eats better than Miles & Noah do!). Its bizarre to already be making three of the same plates of food every night for dinner --- but no complaints on my end!

A Cool New Spot to Play!

While I put Griffin to bed the other night, the boys found a new place to play in their playroom upstairs. Its all about forts and hide-aways with boys, isn't it? Noah cleared out a shelf in the downstairs playroom the next morning for a little instant-replay.

Movin' like the speed of light

Griffin is crawling --- and going faster & faster (especially if some sort of a choking hazard it within reach). Its cute to see him shuffle around!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Three Boys in the Tub!

The boys started bathing together when Griffin turned 9-months. They love to play in the bathtub together....and our night-time routine just got 10x easier!

Bring in the Professionals!

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get a decent group photo of the boys. I tried again on Palm Sunday after church. I kid you not, these are the best ones I could get...(although the one with Noah 'helping Griffin smile' does crack me up!) I see a professional photo shoot in our future!

Flyin' with Daddy!

I'm not sure why, but there is something so cute about a baby "flying" in the air. Griffin loves it! Maybe he'll be a pilot like Grandpa Bob!

Hangin' at the Park

Its always fun to hang at the park. Miles was mesmerized by the the guys playing bball.....and what a hoot when Miles was trying to "catch Noah" at the end of the slide! My favorite picture is the one of Mike and Griff -- I'd give anything to know what Griffin was thinking!

Valentine's Day!

Lots of love to go around on Valentine's Day! The older boys got Buzz Lightyear toys (smuggled home from Disney) and they couldn't have been happier. Griffin loved playing with the Valentine's balloons!

A Warm Day!

We had a warm day today, so we all ran outside and rode our bikes (even Griffin!). Can't wait until spring is here!!
