Noah's Birthday

After Miles had such a fun sleepover birthday, Noah wanted one too. He invited his two besties (Jack and Ian) to spend the night. Mike flew out to Boston that afternoon (right after Noah blew out his candles - but before I cut the cake, so he wouldn't be tempted), so it was another kids/mom birthday night. The sleepover was on a school night (his actual birthday) - but I figured all 3 guys were still in TK (last year of extended preschool), so what's the biggie, right?

Noah's Indiana Jones cake was UNREAL. Rocks, snakes, vines, signs, waterfall...it was all edible. The kids went crazy over it! (excuse all the pictures. this should be in a collage - but since i'm 3 months behind in blogging, this is as good as it gets)

my friend sarah (ian's mom) has a fun business called, "yard cards". she surprised noah with this awesome sign for his bday.

Griffin Program and Snack

Griffin had a cute little performance in chapel at school.  He is on the far left in the blue shirt.  Love that he does the hand movements and sings along.  His teachers consider him quiet and reserved in class, so wasn't sure if he'd participate or not.


After the performance I hung around for a few minute and happened to spot Griffin's class having snack outside.  They were eating chocolate pudding with something inside (gummy bugs?? can't remember)






He loved it.  I love him.

Recycling Center

I chaperoned Noah's TK class to the recycling center. Saw TONS of recycling. Caught tons of cute glances of Noah super happy with his buddies. :)

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day we all went hiking at Crowder's Mountain.  The boys/Bodie did awesome (hiked the entire way -- we were shocked).  The views were incredible.







The boys took turns checking out the views in Mike's arms.  Without guard rails and with a sharp drop, I was too panicked for any of them to get close.



I stayed WAY back with Bodie and held on tightly to the boys. The view from afar was just find with me!


LOVED our hike! Mike and I both hope one of our guys ends up attending college in the mountains. Would be fun to have an excuse to hit the trails more often.

Spring Break in VA

The boys and I spent spring break in VA with Lindsey, Jason and Adelaide (Mike had to work).  LOVED it.  So glad they live within a day's driving distance now (vs in St Louis).
