Noah's Holiday Program

Elementary school performances are adorable.  Plain and simple.  The kindergarteners had their own holiday program for family and friends this year.

You can see Noah in the middle of the pack with the red sweater, the green wreath on his head,  and the big smile.

This photo cracks me up.  The concert started late (6:45?) and our boys are usually in pjs, reading books by 7pm.  Noah was feeling it....

Playing in the Rain!

It has been such a mild winter!  You can see my snowman decoration next to the mailbox...and the boys in shortsleeve shirts playing in the rain.

The Tripod shots and a few more

After our 5 minute tripod session, I snapped a few of the boys.  Yes, we are always look overdue on haircuts in the Brown house....but its tricky when everyone wants to "grow it LONG!"  You have to just suffer through the transition stages (at least that's what i keep telling mike).

Mike took one look at this photo and exclaimed "oh, no!" in a voice that was saying, "that is so cheesy!"  haha

Noah at Thanksgiving

Speaking of the bead shirts...here is Noah's class, decked out for Thanksgiving.  Noah's teacher, Ms King, is the sweetest, kindest teacher.  We love Ms Hager, the assistant in Noah's classroom too.  So lucky with all the boys' teachers this year!

Love all the little friends the boys have made this year too.  Every time I go into Noah's classroom, several little girls ask if they can come over and play.  The idea is too much for Noah.  I think he might be entering the crush phase soon and he's just not sure how to sort out girls as friends.  He's always been up for playing with girls and suddenly the idea embarrasses him/he clams up.  He's all for being friends with the girls in the classroom -- but he doesn't want to sit with girls on the bus and certainly doesn't want playdates with girls.  :)

The Bead Incident

One Sunday afternoon we heard a SCREAM from the playroom and ran upstairs.  Apparently Griffin had shoved a tiny bead (from Noah's school thanksgiving shirt) up his nose.  He could not get it out.  I picked him up, rushed him to the car and we rushed to the Urgent Care.  Of course, when we got to the Urgent Care the wait was over two hours long.  We went back to the car and had a pep talk.  I said, "Griffin, you can do this!  Blow as hard as you can!"  Griffin gave it his all and the bead shot across the car (it was pretty funny).  We washed it off, took a photos, and threw it away.  :)

We couldn't be with Dana and Brad since they were in China.  We skyped and took a group shot.  (excuse the stretch in the photo. i had my wide lens as wide as it could go.)

We also went to James Island to see the AMAZING lights, to roast marshmallows, to see the sand sculptures and to visit with Santa.  I love this tradition.
