This week's I ♥ Faces theme is Texture. I have never used texture before, but I'm so drawn to it in others' photos. I fumbled around with some textures in elements so that I could enter a photo this week (love this one of my 6-year-old devo and his silly 4-year-old bro). I'm definitely still learning -- but I'm determined to enter as many challenges as I can this year. I just love how I ♥ Faces encourages novices to try new things.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Your picture reminds me of my two boys when they were little (now 25 and 21)! What a great age isn't it...or has my memory helped me forget the trying times a bit too? Probably a bit of both.

i love how the texture brings out the bokeh. cool "prop" with the glasses--i'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for more interesting stuff like that.
