After Mike's family and Lindsey and Jason left, we decided to spend an adventure day uptown.

The boys were so excited about the light rail. Miles and Noah were really into counting the stops until our destination.

Our first stop Uptown was the Leonard Bearstein Symphony. Our walk to Founder's Hall was freezing, so as soon as we got inside, everyone peeled off their layers and sat down to relax/watch the show. This picture cracks me up. Everyone is thawing out, and don't they all look m-i-s-e-r-a-b-l-e (or bored, in Mike's case)? I swear that everyone had a really good time. haha

Griffin, of course, was entranced by the whole thing. He's too young to have remembered going last year.

Once they'd had their fill of the concert, the boys started running like crazy people in the big open area in Founders Hall. Since it was practically vacant, Mike and I let them run for awhile -- then we took to the streets and made our way to Discovery Place.

I can't remember the last time we went to Discovery Place as a family. There were so many new exhibits (like the cute sailing one in the bottom pictures) to check out. The boys also had fun building with the skinny blocks that we have at home. My guys (including Mike) never seem to tire of building. Mike built a huge, amazing tower for about 20 minutes. He walked away to check out another exhibit with Griffin and Noah and a little squirt came by and knocked it right over. I wanted to give the kid the evil eye for knocking over my groom's hard work instead of soaking it in, appreciating the masterpiece, calling others over to marvel at it too.... But I didn't. I smiled at him. (I'm such a wimp) :)
