The Y focuses on skills, and good sportsmanship and faith. The kids all make prayer requests then pray together at the end of the clinic. (look how close griffin is sitting to one of his coaches...haha)

Then they all come up with a group cheer and 'break'.

Even Miles, who for years has been a "basketball hater", now loves it. He and Mike shoot around on the other side of the gym during the clinic. Miles has been spending a ton of time outside practicing his skills and is doing awesome making baskets.
...all just in time for (Mike's favorite) Carolina basketball season. :)

love that they can all do these clinics together...i'm sure it inspires some motivation/brotherly team spirit...the griff praying is my fave!
do they have the baskets at 6' for the clinics? jack would probably love this.
love the shot of griffin praying.
also, been meaning to ask you--how did the stroke/swim clinics at harris go? going to sign my kiddos up for something like that to start after the holidays. i'm such a slacker mom--jack hasn't done anything this fall! kim has been telling me she sees you coming from the pool one evening each week with all 3 boys. you've been rocking the activities! :)
that picture of griffin praying next to the coach is hilarious. i absolutely love it.
wanna go to one of these---maybe will get kate signed up next go around.
griffin praying is my favorite too - love that they are doing this together. you and mike are such great parents!
ok griff praying has got to be the cutest thing i've ever seen!! so glad you captured that. totally my fav. everything about it i love. i also love that all your boys are loving basketball. i mean i can totally see the boys growing up, loving basketball and playing until they are old. something they can do with their dad that could turn into some special moments you know? great bonding time. i love it. i hope as jacob gets older he will love it too.
