Panther Game

We took the kids to their first Panther game in November.  It was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g.  They lost.  We were about 8 rows from the top.  We were surrounded by Atlanta fans.  And our row was filled with kids that LOVED it.  Every minute of it.

We took the lightrail there and back.  Had to make it a huge all-around experience.

It cracked me up the way Noah studied his program.  You can see our neighbor Sydney next to him doing the same thing.

See how close we were to the top? I'm pretty sure that if we hadn't purchased our tickets 6 weeks in advance, we could have gotten them that day for free.

We were all super-bundled.

Heading home for hot chocolate and cookies.  Perfect end to a fun day!

Another cool part of the day, is that my (new/bible study) friend Jenny's adopted son, Adam, was granted a wish during the game. Its an amazing story that you can read about here and here.

Aww - I miss the Bass fam! So glad that you were able to do the game together. I read the link you posted and cried all the way through. I laughed out loud when football was actually golf. Hilarious. Thanks for sharing that story.

looks like a fun day--it was probably nice that the kids had room to run around up in those empty upper rows. so glad you included links to the articles about adam. i've been thinking about him ever since you mentioned in passing that a friend's son was receiving his wish at the game.
