We all went to get haircuts. Much overdue haircuts. All 3 want to grown their hair long (Miles is leading the pack). The boys got to play video games while they got their hair cut (Noah and Griffin had their controllers under their smocks). Total bonus.
Our annual/traditional first day of school" celebration rocks (cake and "happy first day of school to you" sung to happy birthday -- everyone gets their own song and own candle). The first day of school was on a Wednesday, so Mike was out of town. We ate extra cake on his behalf.
(thinking about a wish for kindergarten???)
Hope we are still doing this when Miles is a senior, Noah is a freshman, and Griffin is in 7th grade!!

i don't think the boys even know that their hair is getting cut - they are so into those games. so glad we got to be there for the night before school party!
