OUCH

Griffin was swinging between two chairs in Miles' classroom (during the year end party) and slipped and sliced his chin open.  He SCREAMED nonstop until we were seen in the ER.  It was horrible, sad, heart wrenching, awful.  I had to carry him and my camera bag and my purse for about a 1/2 mile while we semi-ran to get to the car (I kept thinking why can't I just run like superman with all of this adrenaline?!).  We drove to the children's ER and it was CLOSED.  He continued screaming in the parking lot and a sweet nurse came out to get us.  We were all set up in a room when the MD arrived to open the facility (noon).  The doctor put 3 applications of liquid glue on him and we were on our way.  Here are a couple of photos I snapped as we walked out.  Oy.
