A couple of nights before my birthday my dinner club friends hosted a fun/incredible/amazing night for me. We went out for dinner and then back to my friend Tracy's house for a sleepover. While there, the girls showered me with "40 favorite things". It was an incredible way to feel so.much.love.
We went out to a local restaurant for drinks/appetizers. It was a LAST MINUTE event. Most people were invited the day before -- early invites came 2 or 3 days before only if someone called and asked me what I was doing. :) We hired a limo service mercedes stretch bus to drive many of us around. So thankful to our friends, James and Marta (silver fox limos) for not thinking I was insane calling 12 hours in advance. Made it super fun!
Wish I took more photos, so I at least had reminders of every person that joined, but oh well. It was a fun night and I'll carry it in my heart.
Mike reserved a patio section of the restaurant and when when we arrived they let us know that they had us down for the following night. Woops! No worries, they made room for us right away outside. We had the best view of uptown charlotte and the sunset. It was great!
We ended the night in a dance club uptown. So fun!!
