Griffin

It was SUCH a nice day yesterday. Griffin and I went to gymnastics, and then ventured to the playground and fields at the Y to just hang out.

Yet again, this kid was looking so big to me.

This dimple makes my stomach do flip-flops. Seriously.

Someone left a soccer ball in the net and Griffin immediately ran to it. He dribbled it around, kicked it, and even threw up his hands when he scored. Since soccer is pretty much the only team sport that I know anything about, I'd love it if he played some.

But, we'll just have to see what makes him happy. :)

Griffin was all about playing peek-a-boo through the soccer net.

I LOVE pictures of kiddos when the photographer is looking down on the child's face and want to learn how to do that well. I called out, "hey, Griff! Pick your head up and look at me." It cracked me up that he took me so literally. :) I'll keep practicing....

these are all amazing and need to be framed. did you wander around and check out the other cool spots near the track? you had such a beautiful day yesterday. today was so gray. i'd love to take them down to that pavilion in the woods sometime, but you'd have to have some sun. great angles and sun flare. i want to know, too--is this the new lens?

I just want to squeeze his cheeks!

What do you use for a lens? I want something different and have NO IDEA what I'm doing!

also, I would SO take you up on that offer of a visit too!

Yes! Its my new (used) 17-55 2.8 lens. I LOVE it. Also, these were the first pics of Griffin that I ever took where I was intentional about the placement of the sun (mostly behind him). I typically just snap whenever I think the boys are doing something cute (regardless of sun/shade/etc..) I was amazed at the difference in color, etc..
