Cardboard Box

Miles and I have been talking about building a cardboard box spaceship for months. Last week something was finally delivered in a box big enough to use. We got out our supplies around 7am Saturday morning and started decorating.

Each boy jockeyed for a side of the box. Griffin went nutty with the markers. Seriously, he cannot be trusted.

Mike and I figured out the design plan and then he took over with the box cutter, duct tape and tin foil. I'm telling you...the rocket ship ROCKED.

Given that we have 3 wild boys in our house, including a super-destructive 23-month old, this happened first thing this morning.

Something about Griff's chubby little muppet hand reaching up, grabbing for some tin foil just cracks me up. Mike doesn't see it...but it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Anybody in there? I am!

We loved the "destination" of our of rocket ship, but as always, the fun was more in the journey (building and destroying). Until the next big box arrives, peace out!

Can you be my Mom? Where do you find the energy and creativity to make a rocket! I'm impressed.
