I love this picture, because it is a perfect snapshot of the reaction I received when announcing that the boys couldn't change out of their church clothes right away. If you know these boys well, you've seen this spectrum of faces before. (Miles was highly irritated. Noah tried to show allegiance to Miles, but you can see a smile bubbling in his eyes. Griffin is happy, going with the flow.)

(One click in: Miles, still irritated. Noah giving in to his smile. Griffin, still happy.)

(Two clicks in: Miles is giving in. Noah is getting silly. Griffin is getting the tickles.)

(Three clicks in: Miles is on board and starts seriously posing :)

We had a little sidewalk added in the backyard last week and we all put our hand prints in the concrete. I was worried that they would fade as as the concrete dried, but you can still see them.

Sweet Noah. He ended up being the most into the camera today.

I pulled out a blanket, since somehow our grass turned into straw this week.

(and as we neared the end of our 5-minutes of snapshots, you can see the original emotions returning...)

(even griffin was longing to take off his shoes and have a snack. miles closed his eyes in silent protest...haha)

so we let the boys run inside, and got a quick shot of me, mike and bodie. and yes, by the time we got inside, the t-shirts and gym shorts had returned. :)

I loved seeing the 5 minute shoot in storybook form...so cute how griff is just happy to be part of the 3 brothers. great idea on the handprints! "sweet noah is PERFECTION! ps...love that mom could wear jeans to church:) the first of all 3 on the blanket is a christmas card
(nice shoes).
well these are just fab. closeup noah looks like you or maybe your smile or something. i love love the sequence of emotions and how noah's trying to be loyal, etc. lighting is great-esp in those first two!! wow you got a lot of great ones in just 5 minutes!
These are so great! You are such a talented photographer- of course you have easy subjects :)
Girl not many people could pull off that pose without looking like they had a ginormous bootey! Congrats to you!! :) cute boys
those pics are a.w.e.s.o.m.e. You should add them to your portfolio :-) i love Griff's cheesey grin in the very first pic. Cute shot of you, Mike, and Bodie (can't believe you took that yourself). Are you lovin the new kicks?
the first three on the grass could be your christmas card. love the crisp lines.
and you have such awesome light on the side of your house. i'll bet it's even better now with a sidewalk to reflect off of.
always love your narrations.
(and i'm with anne, way cool shoes.)
It's always amazing when I can get one good shot of the kids. I push it as far as I can go, and then the photos tend to go downhill from there! :)
